Your Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for identifying and tracking major customer needs and market trends within the target market of wireless mobile communications electronics manufacturers.  The position is also the regional lead for tracking and analyzing market trends, customer and competitive activity.  The position has a “systems sell” orientation, which involves knowledge of the products, strategies and capabilities of the ID Business Line with a focus on Mobile Transactions.  This position is also responsible for identifying key ecosystem players to drive business use cases for mobile transactions.  The BDM has extensive direct customer interface and works closely with NXP’s field sales and applications teams to develop and execute comprehensive business plans, and grow the ID business through design wins.

Primary Accountabilities

• Support identified key accounts and target accounts
• Provide regional feedback and input to Global team to help drive strategy
• Develop strategies to influence and motivate industry eco-system in favour of NXP products and strategies.
• Establish NXP thought leadership within the Americas mobile payment community
• Support global mobile transaction accounts for North American initiatives
• Develop account profiles and drive penetration plans that support the system solution of customer needs as determined by the long range market segment business plan.
• Regularly communicate the major customer/market segment products and technology directions to the Global Mobile Transactions marketing team.   
• Develop and monitor long range (3-5 yrs) customer focused market segment business plans utilizing market intelligence gathered from product roadmaps, field sales inputs and other market intelligence sources
• Work in cooperation with the Global Mobile Transactions marketing team to coordinate the development of monthly BRM updates and the annual sales budget process for the assigned Business Line(s).  
• Lead new product introduction activities including promotional, merchandising and other Marcom activities and recommend and/or develop appropriate sales tools for new products
• Develop and deliver products and system/market training for customers, sales teams and distributor partners
• Participate in trade shows, technical society and standards meetings as appropriate-Provide strategic direction to segment team

• Drive segment strategy & execution with Global Mobile Transactions marketing team
• Recommend segment product roadmaps including delivery types, and cost targets
• Drive Sales and Product Margin
• Define & execute Product Launch Plans and Pricing Strategy
• Drive global business development and ecosystem development

Your Profile:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: BSEE/MSEE/MBA
Minimum 5 years experience, with 10 or more years experience in mobile industry and/or electronic financial payments market.

Preferred experiences:
- related work experience at a customer within the segment
- product marketing experience on NFC, or wireless handset components
- related work experience at a competitive smart card solution provider
-Proven account and sales management record
- Experience at MNO specifying Handset or Service innovations
- Payment infrastructure industry: VeriFone, VivoTech, Ingenico,
- Payment acquirer/issuer industry: First Data, Visa, MasterCard, US Banks
- Marketing at Trusted Service Manager / Mobile Services solutions provider
- Strategy / Marketing at top-tier smartcard vendor (Gemalto / OCS / G&D)
- Direct competition: Inside Contactless
- Side competition: ARM, Qualcomm, TI, Broadcom, CSR, Marvel
- Track record in creating new market through setting-up complete solutions,  creating and driving partnerships which build an end-user value prop (far beyond "semiconductors marketing")
- International background
